Nature Walk and Meditation

Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature on this guided forest walk and meditation experience along the Haverford College Nature Trail. We’ll move at a gentle pace, pausing for moments of mindfulness, reflection, and sensory awareness as we immerse ourselves in the healing rhythms of the natural world. Nature has been shown to support mental clarity, reduce stress, and restore the spirit—this walk offers space to simply be present and grounded. The walk is approximately 45 minutes and begins and ends at the Visitors Parking Lot. No prior meditation experience is needed—just comfortable shoes and an open mind.

This workshop is led by Peg Schofield, a Registered Horticultural Therapist with 25+ years of experience, adjunct professor at Temple University, and Certified Forest Bathing Instructor.
