Weave a Wine Tote or Utensil Holder Basket

Would you love to carry your favorite wine in your own handmade wine tote or give it as the perfect gift for a special friend? Not a wine drinker? No problem, this can also serve as a utensil holder or anything else you can think of! Then this class is for you!

Students will learn to include a handle in the weave, twine the bottom of a round basket, square the twine, upstake, stop and start weaving while shaping the rounded sides, and lashing on the rim. You can even add color to your basket if you choose. This class is the perfect way to start, or continue, your weaving journey.

No experience is necessary. Moderate hand strength is required for this class. Led by Sara from Prairie Moon Baskets and Brooms.
