Workshop FAQs
How do I sign up for a workshop?
Head to our Workshops page and click "Register" on the class you want. Spots are limited, and we do sell out, so don't wait too long to grab your seat.
Where are workshops held?
Most workshops happen right here at Plant 4 Good, 100 Cricket Ave in Ardmore, in our basement workshop space. It's accessible via a set of stairs. If you need accessibility accommodations, just reach out to us in advance, and we'll do our best to make it work.
Do I need experience?
Nope. Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, whether you've never touched a plant (insert whatever workshop skills!) or you're a seasoned pro looking for a fun night out.
What's included in the workshop cost?
All materials are provided unless a specific workshop listing says otherwise. Show up ready to get creative and maybe a little dirty.
Can I bring a drink or snack?
Of course. Workshops are meant to be relaxed and social. Bring a beverage of your choice, any snacks you like, and settle in.
What's your cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel at least 5 days before your scheduled class. Cancellations made 5 or more days out get a refund, minus a $5 credit card processing fee (we don’t get that back on a refund!). This gives us time to fill your seat and order the right amount of supplies, so we appreciate the heads-up.
We're not able to offer refunds or credits for cancellations made after the 5 day window. Please keep in mind that these workshops are how our instructors earn a living. A last-minute cancellation means a seat that can't be filled, supplies that were already purchased and can't be used, and lost income for the person who was counting on that class. We appreciate you respecting this policy.
What if the class gets cancelled?
If a workshop doesn't hit minimum enrollment, we'll let you know about 4 days before the start date and refund you in full. If a class is cancelled due to weather or an instructor's absence, we'll offer a makeup date. If that date doesn't work for you, we'll refund your cost.
Can I use a gift certificate to pay?
Yes! If your gift certificate has a 16-character code (numbers and letters), you can apply it at checkout. If it doesn't have a code, give us a call at 215-922-8024, and we'll get you sorted.
Can you host a private workshop for my group, birthday, or work event?
Absolutely. We host private and group workshops both in our Ardmore studio and offsite at your home or business. Reach out, and we'll help you plan something fun.
Is there an age minimum?
It varies by workshop, and we'll note any age recommendations right on the individual class listing. Many of our classes are great for both adults and kids together.
Where do I park?
There's a parking lot behind our building (Township Lot 23) that's free starting at 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. Access it via the driveway to the right of the pub next door. Street parking is also an option, with no meters after 6pm or on Sundays. You can also park in the lot behind the One Ardmore building, just up Cricket Ave toward Lancaster Ave.
I still have a question. How do I reach you?
Call us at 215-922-8024, email us at plant4good@gmail.com, or use the contact form on our site. We're happy to help.
