Winter Sowing Workshop

Discover the magic of winter sowing - a simple, low-cost way to start seeds outdoors during the coldest months! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to turn everyday containers into mini greenhouses, choose the right seeds for winter sowing, and set yourself up for a season of success.

We’ll walk through the process step-by-step, and you’ll leave with your own winter-sown containers filled with seeds ready to sprout in early spring. Perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike, this class will give you the confidence and skills to grow this rewarding hobby all winter long.

This class is co-led by Lori Curtis, Master Gardener and beekeeper, and Carolyn Vachani, owner of Plant 4 Good. All materials are included. You’ll head home with started seeds and plenty of inspiration to keep growing!
